These works continue the ideas I explored in my 2018 exhibition Snack at Pujos Studios in Barcelona. The title for this collection comes from Simone de Beauvoir's concept of 'Bad Faith', where she describes the temptation to contribute to our own subjugation as women for self-interest and ease. The works address how tempting it is for women attracted to women to opt into the male gaze in art and how we act in Bad Faith when we do it.
